So! I was gone not because anything happened, just because I was feeling guilty - this time, because of how long it's been taking me to remaster Dynamite now that I have clean copies of the episodes. (Reclipping is hateful.) But at last, I have something to show for it. \o/

So when I said I wanted to vid everything to Taio Cruz, what I really meant was I wanted to keep vidding Korra to Taio Cruz. The very first time I heard Fast Car, I knew I was not going to be able to resist trying to vid Korra/Asami to it.

This is my first ever attempt to actually construct an alternate narrative in a vid, so! Don't judge me too harshly, but do feel free to offer technical concrit. It's for the best, I have no idea what I'm doing. :D

Sorry about that, I think the file's been flagged - Mediafire's showing me some kind of copyright notification, which it hasn't done before! Yes, it downloaded fine from Vimeo! (Well, for Vimeo levels of "fine": there's something about the way they code their links that doesn't play *quite* as it should with my machine. Which doesn't keep me from downloading it, fortunately.) But with that out of the way...

Thank you for the remaster of Dynamite (throw my hands up yay!) -- I enjoyed it lots the first time, and I'm glad of a prettier version. :-)

But oh, I *adore* Fast Car. Adore adore adore. In part: omg lesbians who with vigorous sex lives who want to get their hands all over each other omg! Also: aw, butch/femme! Also also: all my feelings about what makes Korra and Asami each so sexy as individuals! And I sniggered to find that I don't mind the show's love triangle clips at all when they've been recontextualized to have Mako horning in on Korra and Asami, haha! :-D

I love Korra and Asami both and I ship it so bad, and in a lot of ways this was a really experimental vid for me, so I was soooooo nervous about it - I can't even tell you how happy I am that it worked for you. \o/ Haha, especially the love triangle clips; honestly this vid is basically what I was telling myself in my head through that entire subplot. :)

OMG, these are so great! Fast Car gives me so much joy :DDD KORRA/ASAMI 5EVER. Korra's big eyes after Asami shakes out her hair all sexy-like is my favourite bit. We're all right there with you, Korra.

Korra/Asami makes me SO HAPPY, I had a blast vidding them, and I may or may not have actually laughed out loud when I got the idea to put those clips next to each other on the timeline and then watched them. (Also that was definitely what my face looked like when Asami was introduced. 110%.)
