As it turns out, the lovely and super-speedy pinch hitter who wrote my delightful Jyn/Leia gift Everything Comes Back to You was FreshBrains! My joy on seeing it appear and present-shaking was indescribable, and I'm so lucky they were able to pick me up. :D

As for me, I offered Original Works on a whim and may have panicked a tiny bit upon realizing I'd matched on it ... but panic turned out to be a productive feeling, and I ended up writing:

chasing_givenchy asked for non-Western princesses and mentioned a) approaching arranged/political marriage with pragmatism, b) characters in situations they aren't entirely prepared for, and c) worldbuilding, machinations, and scheming. And while the practical side of my brain was going OH GOD WHAT DO WE DOOOOOO, my id was all *________*!

For Muccamukk! Obviously I went STRAIGHT for the Sinbad requests, because I enjoy writing Sinbad fic SO VERY MUCH, and since I just wrote Sinbad/Gunnar for Yuletide, I figured I'd switch off and write Rina/Nala, and never mind that the last time I wrote Rina/Nala was also for Muccamukk. If you ask for Sinbad, I WILL FIND YOU. EVERY TIME.

Post-canon, the continuing adventures of the Liandra and her crew: David goes out of phase, and there's nobody except Dulann who can help him figure it out.

For Mimm! Who had like three different requests I could conceivably have leapt on. But as the person who nominated David/Dulann and was not at all expecting anyone to take me up on it, I was STOKED to see a request appear and immediately determined to make it happen. :D Mimm mentioned an interest in Dulann's abilities and in ghosts, and I've always been firmly convinced that LotR would totally have had an out-of-phase episode eventually, so I combined those things and ran with it! I always manage to forget just how much I love the cast of LotR until I'm writing them. ♥

I totally did not manage to read all the things, but I read a bunch of them and enjoyed them hugely, and am looking forward to this exchange running again! Which the mods say it will. :D

oh! the third fic! i haven't seen this subset of b5, but i went to read the fic after the reveals when i found it it's by you, and i kept meaning to say that it was ADORABLE - i loved the old-school sci-fi setup, and david's prickly and kind of denialist pov, and his loneliness after the accident, and the sizzzzzling ust between him and the minbari guy, and the relief of this resolution - just, it was a very very lovely fic.
