We could probably go on a lot about how Stargate canon treats Shen and how fandom treats Shen and Chaya, because it's pretty terrible, honestly. I had heard Shen was going to come to Atlantis! But by then I didn't trust them to do anything right, so I didn't watch it. I didn't even watch either of the later s4 eps where they brought Elizabeth back. No trust at all on my part! (I am glad they didn't kill off Teyla, and I watched a couple Keller-heavy eps too, but I didn't trust them not to fuck up Teyla so I mostly kept away from her.)

So I'm glad you stopped lurking in fandom! Because you're awesome and I love talking to you.

Emily gets no fandom attention, sadly, but we have whole worlds of stories we could tell for her, and I love Kira so much and-- Is it wrong of me to harbor the belief that fandom shoves Kira off to the side so they can pair the two white people? Because I harbor that belief. Kira is so complicated and so brave, and if she was caught and she hatched this plan or got this plan from Cassie's mom, and she did so much on faith, how come fandom does not appreciate that more?

As to Stargate: Universe, I did not trust them to use Ming-Na properly, because that set of PTB, well. RAGE. I refuse to purchase the seasons four and five box sets of SGA. Well, I bought s4. Used. At a garage sale for a dollar.

I signed up to write Heightmeyer and/or Cadman - cannot remember if it's and/or mixing - and I think I may go and add Push to my offers, because I had not realized it was on there and it's such a good movie.
