Such a clever premise, and really well-executed! Great characterization for both Arthur and the mage, and "bittersweet" is absolutely the correct word for the ending, made my heart pang but was so right.

The mage-brings-Catia-back-from-the-dead story that EVERYONE needs, in my humble opinion! Perfectly paced, A+ characterization of everyone, and a fix-it on so many different levels with a conclusion that both delighted me and made SO MUCH SENSE. Seriously excellent!

I'm hoping to at least try to take a stab at the rest of the archive this weekend, so we'll see how far I get. :D In the meantime, happy Yuletide to everybody, and happy almost-not-2017 anymore more generally! ♥
