Well, but now you can take it whenever you want—say, to drive down and visit me! And you don't have to ask them, or make sure it's all right, or anything. Plus, you will eventually have to live on your own (sorry!), so learning how to deal with paying for insurance, getting it inspected, etc., is probably easier with your parents looking over your shoulder. Now you can learn how to take care of a car without worrying about screwing it up. ^^

Hey, at least they didn't make you learn how to drive manual. ^^
