Was a lurker on LJ; am testing the hypothesis that Dreamwidth might make my internet-stalking easier. Bwahahahaha. (Subscribing feels less creepy than friending for keeping track of people I don't actually know. Which would be everybody.) I should note that every day is Circle Amnesty Day, as far as I'm concerned; if you subscribe and then suddenly realize how boring I am, feel free to unsubscribe again! No explanations necessary, and no hard feelings. Also, I have not yet posted anything locked, so for me, granting access is more of a gesture of reciprocity than anything else. Old habits die hard: I read lots but rarely comment, although I am trying to make that less true.

I'm not really expecting this journal to ever be high-traffic, or to involve much discussion/commenting. However, in case it ever does: I want this to be a safe space for people. Disagreement is allowed; deliberate use of racist, sexist, or other discriminatory language is not. I am white, mostly asexual, probably cisgendered, and an atheist; difference on any or all of those points is very much welcome. I can't guarantee I'll always manage it, but I will try my hardest to keep myself from going pantsless. I expect everybody in this space to do the same. ETA: I am currently in the process of trying to eliminate ableist language from my personal lexicon, but it is, as noted, a work in progress. Please call me out if you catch me using it; I will be grateful for the reminder. (That goes for pretty much anything in here, actually, not just ableism.)

If you just want fanworks, you can find those here at my master post, or on the AO3 at Damkianna. I don't really feel you need to ask me before podficcing, remixing, critiqueing, translating, or making art based on my stuff (although I'd love it if you'd share a link to the end result!). Consider this blanket permission. I will do my best to use warnings appropriately, but do absolutely let me know if I have failed to warn when I should have, and feel free to ask me if you aren't sure whether something of mine is safely viewable for you.
